About Us

Whole house water filtration in Nightmute, AK, Alaska looks different depending on where your water comes from. Anchorage draws most of its city water from Eklutna Lake, while a large share of homes outside the cities rely on private wells. Some Alaska wells carry iron, manganese or naturally occurring arsenic, so testing comes first. Clear Drop Filtration sizes sediment filters, carbon tanks and specialty media for these conditions. Frost is the other concern. A filter in an unheated garage or arctic entry can crack its housing in one cold night, so placement inside the heated envelope matters as much as the media.
